10 Months Old

Somehow, Gail's 10-month birthday slipped past me on Monday. This has been a week of very visible progress for Gail, as we've seen her roll from back to front now, outside of her crib occasionally as well as in it regularly. She scoots backward on her tummy as well, and can turn some. She has also mastered the art of moving in whatever direction she's facing while sitting on a hard floor. She rocks forward with just enough momentum to move a little, and can cross our kitchen in this fashion.

Here's a video of her doing what we call "Sideways Baby". She used to laugh hysterically whenever we tipped our heads sideways, until she mastered it herself.




And here she is feeding herself some snacks.





She still loves to eat, and is trying (and mostly liking!) new foods constantly.
