Back to School

It's finally time for the schools to start this week here in Washington! Rachel started preschool with me two weeks ago, and is so excited to be learning the Days of Creation (with hand motions) and tracing her numbers made of sandpaper. We start with the letters this week, and we'll review shapes over the next couple months.

Last week we got Gail's class assignment and went to the Meet and Greet day. Before we went the girls sharpened all the pencils in her school supplies.





At her school, we met her teacher, checked out the classroom, and did an assignment at her seat. Rachel had to participate, too, of course!





Gail starts school this Friday, and she'll be doing all-day kindergarten. I think she'll be pretty tired at first, but she is really excited to start! She has already completed her picture and sentence that she needs to bring in on the first day.
