Gingerbread House, or Cookies

This year's gingerbread house was uncooperative about standing up, and since the girls are too little to be upset about it, we quickly gave up assembling it and just let them decorate the pieces. That actually worked out for the best, because then everyone could eat the parts they had decorated and we didn't have any fighting. Rachel especially loved the jelly beans ("jebby-BEAN") and Gail is already asking about next year's gingerbread house.

We don't have pictures of Rachel with her gingerbread, but suffice it to say the jebby-BEANs ended up in her mouth after they spent a minute or two on the gingerbread. But here she is, with a new toy of Matthias's. He got a plush yeast for his birthday, and Rachel brought it in to him one day carrying her lovey (little blankie) and saying "Yuvee nye-nye baybee eest". Matthias confirmed that she wanted the "baby yeast" wrapped in her lovey to go night-night, and here she is.
