Announcement Via the Girls

Here are some photos we did of the girls to announce that I'm expecting (due July 28):






Per Gail's special request, we had to take one with Rachel's baby doll dressed in Rachel's jammies.





It's been a week of accomplishments for the girls. Gail has learned to hang laundry on hangars for me, and she can actually hang some of them up in the closet by standing on a chair. She also asked to start rinsing the dishes for me, so I let her do everything except the big plates tonight and she did a great job! She can also get her own soap out washing her hands, which makes things a little simpler for the adults!

Rachel has learned to turn on the light in their bedroom by getting the step stool, and she can sometimes turn it off too. She can turn some doorknobs now. She has also mastered the buckle in the high chair, and wants me to "please open buckle" repeatedly so she can practice more.
