Beating the Heat

It has been pretty hot here, and most houses (including ours) don't have air conditioning. When it gets to almost 90 degrees inside, we have chosen to retreat to the basement or hang out on the deck with water in the kiddie pool. Here is Gail playing in the water:

The high today is supposed to only be around 85 instead of 90, but just for future preparedness Matthias has ordered a window air-conditioner for Gail's room. There are none to be found in stores right now, nor fans for that matter, but at least we have the internet!
