Now that Gail is a competent walker, we went back to the new amazing park close to our house to explore the splash pad! Matthias was all prepared in his swimsuit, because we figured she'd need some guidance/assistance/rescuing. When we first got there, he carried her through the water, and she wasn't too thrilled.
Then, we let her walk over to the play area and had some fun there.
She walked all the way back around, and was then happy to approach the water all by herself.
Or with a little bit of help from Dada! She chased the water for quite awhile...
She refused to give up even when her legs were giving out from exhaustion, and she was sad that we made her go home and have lunch! We have some videos from our adventure, too, but I'm saving those for next time.
