Here We Go!

It's been a bit of a challenging week at our house since Gail can get where she wants to be now. As long as she was backing up, she stayed out of trouble, but now she can crawl to and touch whatever she wants, so we're working on what's okay to touch and what's not. The hardest off-limits item for her is the oven. Since there's a space above the drawer where a little hand can touch a very hot surface, we've declared the whole thing off limits, and she isn't happy about it. I'm trying to limit the number of "no-no"s, choosing only potential dangers, so she isn't too frustrated.

The first molar is starting to poke through, and with it has come a tidal wave of drool again, and I'm sure a fair amount of pain. She's still a little champ though, not complaining much about anything.

Here are some videos from yesterday. They are very, very short, but I wanted to get something up instead of waiting for everything to be just perfect. The plastic she's playing with is an advertisement, by the way, and since she can't get it open she gets to keep it as a toy. Funny how a little one will ignore the nice bright toys she has and play with an advertisement and the laundry.
