Little Learner

Gail is doing her best to learn new skills, and while she is encountering limited success, that doesn't stop her from trying. Her main goal is to eat and drink as much as possible, and sometimes we make her wait longer than she'd like for food. The other day, I set her bottle on her high chair tray and left it, and she got this close to drinking it herself:

She hasn't really figured out the sippy cup, either, even though it's easier to grab. She holds it and puts it in her mouth, but doesn't see the need to tip it up. She did one good sip herself this morning, but I'm not sure if it was on purpose or an accident. She was pretty excited about it, though!

Here's a rare occurrence, getting snuggles that only come when she's too tired to hold her head up anymore:

And lastly, here we are at the park. She didn't really love the swing, but I think as her balance and control improve she'll enjoy it more.
