Gail's First Cereal

I have been so excited to give Gail her first bites of rice cereal, and it finally happened yesterday! We were all ready with a video camera and a still camera to capture what I was expecting to be funny faces as she was unsure of eating. Boy, was I surprised!

I gave her her own spoon, because I had read that then she would be less likely to grab the spoon in my hand. However, I ended up having to take it away because she kept putting it in her mouth so I couldn't get to it!

She absolutely loved her cereal, even though I had it so thin that I spilled it all over her bib, and she kept wanting more. We took video of the first couple minutes, so if you have the patience for it, here it is:

She finished almost all the cereal I had mixed, so we'll be doing this daily now, with less water added!
