Christmas was exciting for Gail this year! We drove down to Boise to see my (Bethany's) family, and Gail got to spend several days with the Ruggiero cousins. She loved opening presents this year, at least for a little while, until she got overwhelmed. Then she said, "Bye-bye Gail" and went to sit by herself for a few minutes before coming back to open more presents. Matthias and I were pretty proud that she didn't have a meltdown, but took time by herself when she needed it instead. Here she is with her cousins by the tree:
One of her favorite parts of Christmas day was the baggie of goldfish in her stocking, which she ate all day, and then started stealing bags from the other kids because she thought they were all hers.
Now that Christmas is over and we're home, she's starting to really enjoy all her new toys!
